Rather than investing in robust hardware platforms, they build their own systems based on yesterday's technology at discounted rates. Our provider is committed to working with Sun Microsystems and Compaq, two leader manufacturers of UNIX and Windows servers worldwide. Rather than take the cheaper route, our providers invest in their own quality of service by using Sun and Compaq hardware for the shared server platform. No surprise, they have only had 3 hardware issues on the shared server platform (consisting of over 34 servers)!
