Significant Physical Protection with Onsite Armed Officers 24x7
In January 2000, an exclusive relationship with Asset Protection & Solutions (APS) was formed to create a Protective Services Department. Thus creating a round-the-clock staffing of armed, uniformed officers that protect the data center facilities, and all office areas. A Security Station is located in the 10th Floor IDC. The Security Station and the 10th Floor IDC are sealed with bullet resistant composites that include glass, wallboard and metal mesh.

Common and Critical Area Protection
In addition to the high level of physical protection, the use of biometric palm scanners has been incorporated, which scan up to 87 points on the palm, to determine the identity of the person and grant access permission. The protection of all office areas, departments and critical environments are maintained through complex access control and alarm monitoring systems. To further extend resources, an alarm monitoring redundancy to a local alarm monitoring provider has been outsourced.

Surveillance
At present time the Protective Services Department monitors over 34 CCTV cameras. This allows 24x7 monitoring of all critical and common areas. This includes 120x zoom domes, stationary covert cameras, and web-enabled packages, which make up the electronic security measures.
